CD-ROM ISO Images

As of the 2.2 release, the standard CD image has been split into three separate images.

The first image contains English language installers for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX.

The second image contains the packages for Solaris, both SPARC and Intel varieties.

The third image contains additional documentation, the Open Clip Art library, dictionaries and a selection of templates.

Of these, only the first install image is essential. The Solaris and Extras images are optional.

Since this is a very large download (approximately 500 MB each at this time), we make it available through the BitTorrent Peer to Peer network. For information on BitTorrent, see The Peer to Peer Project page

Can't (or won't) use BitTorrent?

The standard ISO images are available for normal download through the Extended mirrors. The images are contained in a sub-directory named "/iso/en" (for English images) or "/iso/de" (for the German images).
